Dr. Uaesoontrachoon is a muscle biologist with more than 12 years of experience working with muscular dystrophies. He received his PhD in muscle biology from the University of Melbourne, Australia and post-doctoral training in the laboratories of Drs. Nagaraju and Hoffman at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
Dr. Uaesoontrachoon also previously worked at Cortical, Pty Ltd (Australia), a company engaged in the research and development of small-molecule solutions for inflammatory diseases.
Dr. Uaesoontrachoon specializes in the pathogenesis of muscular dystrophies and has carried out over 60 preclinical trials for phenotyping, drug efficacy, and surrogate biomarker testing in various animal models. In addition to preclinical testing, Dr. Uaesoontrachoon also has experience with overseeing, handling, and performing analysis for both molecular and biochemical testing of clinical samples. Dr. Uaesoontrachoon oversees and manages all preclinical, clinical, and biomarker operations at AGADA Biosciences.
